About

Philadelphia Freedom has been in existence since 2006 and has been one of the most successful club lacrosse teams in the Philadelphia region. There are over 200 players currently playing for the club from 3rd grade through 12th grade.

Coaches: Our coaching staff is made up of several former college lacrosse players. Several assistant coaches are currently playing college lacrosse at the DI and DIII levels. The club focus is on developing not only great lacrosse players but respectful, confident young men who represent Philadelphia Freedom lacrosse and their families the right way on and off the field.

Uniforms: Each player will receive a Freedom shooter shirt. New players will get an Under Armour jersey and shorts.

Practices: The summer season starts off with a 3 day mini-camp followed by weekly practices. Some teams may schedule additional practice sessions during the summer season. A minimum of 8 practices sessions will be held for each team.

Tournaments: All teams will play a minimum 3 summer tournaments. Tournament schedules will be posted as soon as they are set. Normally 1 travel/overnight tournament and 2 local events in the Philadelphia region.

Costs: Philadelphia Freedom traditionally has been the most economical program for families and we strive to make this the case each year.

Fall and Winter lacrosse: While we encourage our players to play multiple sports, the opportunity to continue training exists with fall clinics, 2 fall tournaments, winter indoor training and box lacrosse at USTC. Fall and Winter programs have a separate fee.
