About Freedom Lacrosse

The goal of the Philadelphia Freedom Lacrosse program is to provide a more competitive experience for players looking to further develop their lacrosse skills in a fun and challenging environment.  We will compete against the best youth and high school lacrosse clubs in the country.  Experienced coaches, who have played in high school and at top college programs, will assist with the training and development of these teams.  Current Division 1 and Division 3 college lacrosse players will be assistant coaches during the summer.  Boys & girls from all areas of the Philadelphia region are welcome to participate.

The club focus is on developing not only great lacrosse players but respectful, confident young men & women who represent Philadelphia Freedom lacrosse and their families the right way on and off the field.

Uniforms

Players receive Freedom UnderArmour apparel each year comprised of a shooter shirt, jersey and shorts.  Separate online Fanzones are available each Fall and Spring to buy additional gear.

Practices

The club practices on Sundays in the Fall and 2 to 3 times per week in the Summer.  We also hold indoor training in the Winter.  We focus heavily on skill development for all teams.

Tournaments

Typically, our teams will do 1 or 2 Fall events and 3 or 4 Summer tournaments.  Some teams opt to do a box lacrosse event in the winter and several youth teams participate in club leagues/events during the Spring season.  This varies by team but we strive to always place our teams in the most competitive events available.

Costs

Philadelphia Freedom traditionally has been one of the most economic programs for families and we strive to make this the case each year.  Each Freedom Team will have different annual costs based on its budget and schedule.  This will be communicated as teams are selected. We also provide individual goalie and face off training which is included in the annual fee.
